Postcard Distribution Network
The Postcard Distribution Network (PDN) is an efficient and inexpensive way to get your company's postcards into the hands of eager arts lovers all over the Bay Area!
PDN is a network of over 50 established locations in San Francisco, the North Bay, East Bay, and South Bay/Peninsula. Each location features an attractive postcard display in a highly visible traffic area where performing arts organizations, services, and professionals can have their promotional postcards displayed, including numerous theatres and select information centers.
No more running from place to place trying to get enough coverage — we do the work for you!
How to Advertise with PDN
Plan your deliveries
PDN deliveries happen every month! Select which postcard delivery routes you would like to send your materials to. We have four routes available for purchase:
- San Francisco
- North Bay
- East Bay
- South Bay/Peninsula
You can purchase one delivery route or mix and match any of the routes to get a bundle discount. Theatre Bay Area Company and Associate members get a 30% discount on all advertising. PDN Display Locations get an additional $5 off all PDN routes.
RSVP for your drop-off
Be sure to RSVP! Every month there is a postcard drop-off date in each region of the Bay Area:
- South Bay
- North Bay
- East Bay
- San Francisco
Bring all your postcards to one monthly drop-off. You can drop off all your cards for all your selected routes at whichever location that is convenient for you.
RSVP for an available drop-off by emailing Meghan@TheatreBayArea.org with the date and location you plan to attend. If there are no RSVPs for a regional drop-off 1 business day in advance, we will cancel that drop-off.
We do not store postcards for future delivery so please only bring cards for this month's distribution.
Prep your postcards
Gather your cards into bundles bound with a rubber band to prepare for distribution. If your postcards aren’t bundled, they may not be delivered.
Each bundle must be:
- A stack of up to 25 cards OR up to 10-15 brochures/multi-page pamphlets
- 8.5 x 5.5in (half letter size) or smaller
- Weighing no more than 7oz*
Check the updated route details below for exact number of bundles. Please provide the correct number of bundles for each route. If you don't have enough postcards, use fewer cards per bundle.
* If your materials weigh more than 7oz per bundle, we reserve the right to charge a $25 fee to cover additional delivery costs.
Drop off your bundled postcards
Bring your postcards to your selected drop for distribution. We are unable to give refunds for missed delivery windows, and we are unable accept drop-offs outside the listed options.
Forgot to purchase in advance? Don’t worry! Simply RSVP and attend a drop off and we will invoice you after we receive your cards.

Join as a Display Location!
Seeking new display venues in all regions! Now accepting new South Bay/Peninsula, East Bay, North Bay, and San Francisco venues.
We're always seeking more display locations to participate. Whether you are a theatre, café, or other location visited by performing arts fans, we'd love to add you to the route. All you need is a display rack, table, or shelf and daytime availability during delivery dates.
Display locations get a discount on their PDN purchases in thanks for making the program possible. Email Hilary@TheatreBayArea.org for more information.
