As the theatre service organization serving the entire Bay Area community, we recognize and value our responsibility in practicing equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) within our organization and promoting EDI among our members.
TBA defines EDI as an ongoing, iterative, aspirational process to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in all its forms among the Bay Area theatre community.

Accountability Statement & Action Plan
In March 2021, Theatre Bay Area released an Anti-racism Accountability & Action Plan, detailing the internal and external change TBA staff & board are working toward.
Community Accountability Agreement
In January 2023, we introduced a Community Accountability Agreement for our membership and grantees. This agreement sets the groundwork for TBA's active role facilitating EDI in our community.
