BERKELEY, CA – August 14, 2024 – WYALD Arts and Ritual Theatre, a Bay Area multimedia theater and arts production company, in collaboration with Litquake Festival 2024, are thrilled to announce the upcoming performance of Poetry Nap at Chabot Planetarium: The Enchanting Secret of the Opalescent Moon scheduled for October 12, 2024, at the Chabot Space and Science Center in Oakland, CA. This highly anticipated Poetry Nap immerses the audience in a multi-sensory journey through the cosmos, combining the awe-inspiring visuals of Chabot’s state-of-the-art planetarium dome with the beauty of classic and modern poetry woven into a dreamlike, witty bedtime story. 

The show will star husband and wife team Robert Wyald as Lord Dosis and Jodie Wyald as Lady Dosis, both Bay Area performers. Poetry Nap offers a revitalized and reimagined way to appreciate poetry. Audience members are invited to relax and listen to the story unfold, with the option to take a nap. It’s a charming bedtime story with eccentric and surreal twists. 

In addition to the performance, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy telescope viewings on the Chabot observation deck, further enhancing their celestial experience.
